A fairly common method, the process can be performed on ethanol or other alcohol. Ethanol extracts the entire spectrum of cannabinoids, terpenes and chlorophyll from the plant. We can enjoy these two, but chlorophyll can cause some unpleasant side effects. Of course you can get rid of the chlorophyll by filtering the extract, but it will reduce the potential of the oil.
Butane based extraction will give us a stronger oil than ethanol extraction. Unfortunately, however, the solvents contained in such oil can irritate our lungs in case of inhalation, even after evaporation. It is worth subjecting the final product to a vacuum cleaning process beforehand.
In summary, this extraction method will extract any cannabinoids and aromas from the plant material, but also remove the element responsible for the green color. This type of concentrate can be vaporized or dissolved in olive oil, hemp oil or coconut oil.
